Body 1112 is a very light firing, porcelain-like stoneware quality with 20 % chamotte 0 – 1.0 mm. The recommended firing range is 1200 °C – 1280 °C.
The plastic body is very suitable for building-up medium-sized to large pieces because of the content of coarse Kaolin chamotte. This body is almost as white as porcelain. Due to the light firing colour the luminosity of transparent glazes is increased.
