Welte stoneware glaze KGS 1 – colorless glossy

Using stoneware clay produces dense, hard, and durable ceramics.
Due to the high firing temperatures, unique effects, primarily based on crystallization, are possible in stoneware.

 Our range of glazes takes this into account. The optimal firing temperature is between 1220°C and 1240°C, with the firing curve (heating and cooling rate) being of particular importance. When applying the glaze, it should be noted that many glazes have a higher flow rate.
